This place does not disappoint! The only critique I can give (if I have to) is to add more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels/bathing suits. I knew nothing about the Keys before booking and did a lot of research on the web and through Tripadvisor. The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Water: Probably the most important for a stay in July! Each floor has a common area as you exit the elevators with water bottles and ice being replenished throughout the day! No excuse to stay hydrated. They also rent bikes (not electric), paddle boards and kayaks. We had a blast exploring Key West this way and it was a better option in terms of the heat. There was plenty of storage if you like to unpack and officially move in! On site rentals: GET THE GOLF CART! We made the mistake of using a local company to rent electric bikes for 3 days. It was nice to have a place to sit and relax in between activities. The couch in the room was an excellent touch as the heat wave made being outside for too long impossible. We opted for the gulf view and were not disappointed. We did not rent a cabana but they looked wonderful as well. Chairs were available at all hours throughout the day with no issues. Pool: staff by the pool seemed to clean for hours before opening each day. The food was phenomenal and very convenient.
Food: Breakfast was included and there was a small but sufficient spread daily. There is a small convenient store with supplies, gifts and snacks next to the front desk.
We requested a top floor and were granted that as it was available. Our room was ready early and the staff at the front desk were always happy and helpful. The highlights: Check in: Took a matter of minutes.
The hotel was om the grounds, to the common areas, to the room. Let me start off by saying that this was one of the cleanest, most beautifully decorated hotels we have EVER stayed in.
